About the author
Saint Anthony of Padua was a prominent figure in the 13th century and is considered one of the most important Doctors of the Church. He was a Portuguese Catholic priest and Franciscan friar known for his outstanding oratory skills and profound spiritual insights.
The book’s title translates to “The Golden Rain of Divine Sentences, through which the Heavenly Language of Saint Anthony of Padua Truly Irrigated the Christian World towards Virtue.” It suggests that Saint Anthony’s words and teachings were like a refreshing rain that nourished the souls of believers, leading them toward a virtuous life.
