The Economic Encyclopedia is a German-language encyclopedia created between 1773 and 1858 largely by Johann Georg Krünitz. It is considered an important source on the economy and technology of the period between Enlightenment and industrialization.
Volume 72. deals with the human body. Includes many very interesting and strange plates (see scans). Pp. 994. + 29 multiple folded plates with 30 (of 32?) copperplate engravings. Some engravings are misplaced, some not numbered. According to data on the title, 32 engravings should be present, but there are no traces of tearing or cutting. The content of the book apparently remained unchanged from the time when it was originally bound.
