Justo Jorge Padrón (born 1943 in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria) is a Spanish poet, essayist, and translator. On several occasions he was awarded, and among other things, he was selected by the foreign ministry and the Institute of Hispanic Culture to tour Latin America as a representative of the new generation of Spanish poetry. In 1979 he represented Spain at the fourth World Congress of Poets in South Korea and at the first Festival of European Poetry in Leuven. Padrón’s work has been translated into more than thirty languages, and he was himself a translator who specialized in Scandinavian languages.

Through these poems, author testifies about the weight and depth of suffering that a man must go through, and show their incredible sensitivity; and, at the end, there is a love of life as a hope.

Ivan V. Lalic (1931 – 1996) was one of the most significant Serbian poets writing after World War II with a reputation as one of the finest European poets of his time. Also one of the leading poets of contemporary neosymbolism poetry in Serbia. He had also been writing essays and literary critics and versifying English and French poetry into Serbian language. Lalic edited few antologies of poetry. He was sincerly appreciated among colleague poets of his time all over the world as it can be seen in many inscriptions wrote to him on books he received as sign of respect and appreciation.
