The beekeeper’s journal Pcelar, number 10, was printed in 1935 in Belgrade. The first illustrated magazine for beekeepers in Serbia was published in 1883 in Belgrade under “Bee”. Then “Serbian Beekeeper” was printed on October 1, 1896, in Sremski Karlovci. Since 1899, it has continued to be published by the Serbian Beekeeping Association in Ruma. “The Beekeeper”, the organ of the Serbian Bee Society, has been published since January 1, 1898, in Belgrade. In January 1934, “Pčelar” and “Srpski pčelar” merged and have been published under the name “Pčelar” ever since.
