Ukrainian Prayer Book or Psalter is a book that contains hymns and poems traditionally ascribed to the Holy Prophet and King David, covering most forms of worship, such as praise, thanksgiving, penitence, and intercession. Psalter forms the core of all sacramental offices of the Orthodox Church. This book was printed in the Kyiv Pechersk Lavra, one of the holiest places of the Orthodox Church also found on the UNESCO World Heritage Sites list. The book is well preserved (for the era).
