Two books in one binding from collected works of Pierre Tartaret, a philosopher and theologian active at the University of Paris during the late fifteenth and early sixteenth centuries. His works primarily consist of commentaries on school authors such as Aristotle and Peter of Spain, whom he explained according to the doctrines of Duns Scotus. His commentaries on logic and natural philosophy, in particular, were reprinted until well into the seventeenth century.
