Jean Fallot (1912 – 1992) was a French academic. He practiced his teaching at the Universities of Bari, Bologna, Messina, Warsaw, Saarbrücken, obtaining at the end of his career Professor of Philosophy at the University of Nice. His reputation in Italy is linked to the success of his political works, translated by major publishing houses in thethe 70 ‘ .We recall in this regard “Marx and the question of machines” (The New Italy, Florence 1971), “Class Struggle and the Marxist morality” (Bertani, Verona 1972), “The pleasure and death in the philosophy of Epicurus” (Einaudi , Torino 1977). In recent years his writings focused on issues more specifically philosophical: “L’Angoisse devant la mort. Journal” and “here Cette mort n’en est pas une”(both published by Presses Universitaires de Lille, in 1991 and in 1993).
