Ideae Sacrae 150 Holy Ideas Hungarian Biblical Manuscript
Sacred Ideas – reflections on Biblical texts in Hungarian and sections in Latin language, unknown author.
The manuscript shows aspects of a scientific work. It is subdivided into 150 sections called ideas, stated at the beginning of every chapter followed by an explanation. At the end of every explanation is a section called “Documentum” that quotes sources from Biblical verses.
All ideas are later listed in the index section (Pp. [561-566]). The index also shows references to the verses quoted.
The manuscript itself is not dated, judging by the paper, the period of provenance is either late XVIII or early XIXc. The paper is strong and crisp without watermarks to indicate the paper manufacturer.
