A 1928 French illustrated edition of the novel Le Robinson suisse (original title: Der Schweizerische Robinson) by Johann David Wyss. It was initially published in German in 1812 in Zurich (Switzerland). This is one of the very first rewritings, and the most successful of the famous novel by Daniel Defoe, Robinson Crusoe. This edition is translated into French by Élise Voïart, a writer and translator from Nancy, France, specializing in historical works, fiction, and children’s books.
