A collection of folk songs about Vojvoda Lune, a Serbian guerrilla fighter, officer, and politician. He earned several recognitions and awards for his service in the Balkan Wars and World War I. After the war, he served as a lieutenant in the Serbian army until his retirement in 1924. He then joined the Democratic Party of Yugoslavia led by Ljubomir Davidovic.
Dragutin Jovanović Lune was killed on July 2, 1932, at a train station in Niš by police agent Stevan Protić. Protic beat up Lune during the routine luggage check. This murder has to this day remained veiled in suspicion.
Extremely scarce, only three copies can be found in Serbian libraries. Illustrated edition (photographs in black and white)
