Binding: Original half-leather binding with a gilt-stamped title on the spine cover. Some signs of wear on the panels and along the edges on all five volumes, hinges slightly loose.

Condition: Inscriptions and stamps by the previous owner on flyleaves of volumes 1-4. Title pages slightly stained, spots on some of the pages, in good condition overall.
