Work by Vito Pichler, Austrian Jesuit canonist, and controversial writer. The second volume of his famous work “Theologia polemica particularis” was first published in 1711.

Binding: Original leather binding. Gilt-stamped spine cover. Minor cracks bumped edges, the right bottom of the front cover damaged, damage along the edges, the top right piece of the spine cover torn, and signs of wear on the bottom of the back cover. Condition: Foxing, wormholes from pp. 411 through to pp. 637 not affecting text eligibility, dog ears on some of the pages, water stain from pp. 719 through to the end not affecting text eligibility.
