Sulpicius Severus was a Christian writer and native of Aquitania[1] in modern-day France. He is known for his chronicle of sacred history, as well as his biography of Saint Martin of Tours. This is early, probably second edition of his collected works printed in Germany.

Binding: Original vellum binding with title on the spine cover. Cover detached from spine, stains and minor traces of wear, scratches.
Condition: Inscription, stamp and sticker by the previous owner on the title page, title page stained. Foxing, heavier on some of the pages, signs of ageing.
