János Török (Tapolca, June 6, 1809 – Budapest, February 9, 1874) was a Hungarian mathematician, economist, and a member of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences, appointed as the national archivist in 1866. Shortly before his death, he transferred his library to the episcopate of Satu Mare. He was a knight of the Order of St. Gregory of Pope, a knight of the Turkish Medsidi order, and a member of many domestic and foreign economic associations.

XI with a view of Esztergom + 180 with a few illustrations + /3/ + 23 plates with portraits, facsimiles, insignias, and colored view of Esztergom. 319 with + /1/ + X + /2/ + 25 plates with illustrations of insignias 1 folded plate with large facsimile (torn approx. 10 cm) + 4 plates with 8 illustrations.
Size: 28 x 19,5 cm.

Binding: Two volumes bound together as issued. Cloth binding, covers paper later renewed, with original soft covers pasted on the front and back panel. Some tears, signs of wear, edges minimally bumped, three small holes on the bottom of the spine cover, and spine extremes somewhat worn.
Condition: Uncut, stamped by previous owner on the title of the first book, plate between pp 16-17, 32-33 partially detached but still within the textblock, occasional very minor stains. Otherwise, very fresh and clean copy.
