Three books from Complete Works of Dositej Obradovic, famous Serbian philosopher, writer, dramatist, traveler, and founder of modern Serbian literature. These three books: his autobiography, letters, and translations of Aesop’s fables represent the most significant of Obradovic’s works.

Binding: Original quarter leather binding. Blindstamped spine cover, signs of wear on the panels and along the edges, a sticker on the front cover, inscriptions, stains on the endpapers, and minor damage at the spine joints.
Condition: Stains, stamps, and ink inscription by previous owners on the main title page and Pp. 15. The title page of the first book is stained with inscriptions by previous owners. Stains due to aging and usage, minor foxing, and stamp by the previous owner on Pp. [XV].
