Original public announcement printed in 1867, the very same year of Austro-Hungarian Compromise when two countries established the dual monarchy of Austria-Hungary. Under the Compromise, the lands of the House of Habsburg were reorganized as a real union between the Austrian Empire and the Kingdom of Hungary, headed by a single monarch who reigned as Emperor of Austria and King of Hungary. This poster contains list of names of newly elected members of Town Hall of Krupina, nowadays south Slovakia.
Condition: One sheet poster with signs of folding. Stained, some tears along the edges, top corner wrinkled.
