Original press photo of American crew insignia for the Apollo-Soyuz mission. On the insignia of the American crew for the forthcoming united American-Soviet space flight are seen two spacecrafts right before uniting above the Earth, while the sun is behind them. Around the picture are the written words Apollo in English and Soyuz in Russian, stars representing the crew members, and names written next to them. Astronauts Tom Stafford, Vance Brand, and Donald Deke Slayton will join their spacecraft with the spacecraft carrying cosmonauts Alexei Leonov and Valery Kubasov; after the launch, which will take place in July, they will join in orbit around the Earth.
