Antique print from Meyers Konversation Lexikon showing the various types of camels. Beautifully detailed back-to-back engraving of CAMELS, CAMELIDS.

Printed in 1896, Leipzig Germany, as an illustration for “Meyers’ Konversations Lexikon”.

The print shows: 1. Camelus dromedarius – Dromedary, 2. Camelus bactianus – Bactrian Camel.
The reverse side shows: 1. Auchenia Pacos – Alpaca, 2. Auchenia Lama – Lama, 3. Auchenia Vicugna – Vicuna.
