Bitka na Neretvi (Battle of Neretva, La bataille de Neretva)

This is a smaller version of Picasso’s poster, printed in a limited number of copies and used as an invitation-only for the premiere of The Battle of Neretva and the simultaneous opening ceremony of the hall Skenderija in Sarajevo. The making of the movie Battle of Neretva in 1969 was the most expensive project at that time. Some of the biggest Hollywood stars were in the cast, such as Yule Brynner, Orson Welles, and Franco Nero. Pablo Picasso designed the original poster. Curiously, this was the only time when Picasso designed the movie poster. The authorities never announced the movie budget. Some are saying that Tito even ordered spending federal reserves in order to finish the shooting.
The poster is signed by the actors and director, as well as Tito himself and his spouse, Jovanka Broz. Here is the list of autographs:
