an original hand written letter of Guladbas Broker Indian short story writer, playwright and journalist (1909-2006) Gulabdas was born at Porbandar in Saurashtra region on September 20, 1909. He did his graduation from Bombay University in 1930 in Gujarati and English literatures. He worked at the Bombay Stock Exchange for some time and also edited famous Gujarati magazine ”Akhananand”. A large number of his short stories and plays have been translated in English, German and Spanish, besides Hindi. He was conferred with the Padma Shree award in 1991, Ranjitram Gold Medal in 1998 and prestigious Narshi Mehta award of Gujarat Government in 1999. Gulabdas was also president of Gujarati Shahitya Parsihad in 1973-74. Letter sent 22.
