Binding: Original velvet binding. It’s somewhat worn along the edges.
Condition: Gilted textblock edges. Stamped by the previous owner on the title page (2 stamps) and on pp. 460 (1 stamp), ink and pencil inscription on some of the pages, pencil inscription on the front loose endpaper, dated: 1966. Foxing on some pages, pp. 339 through to 342 partially detached, tear on top of the pp. 214 (2 cm). The book has 12 added handwritten pages. (The book is complete without added pages).
